Why this organisation exists

It began with a simple observation: a colour vision test was quietly ending people’s plans, and nobody in India was set up to argue with it. What started as conversations between three people became screening camps, then training, then a place to bring any kind of discrimination.

The director sets the direction of the association, holds its partnerships, and signs off every certificate the training programmes issue.

180 People Who Make This Possible

Behind the team leaders is a volunteer movement — counsellors, trainers, campaigners and writers who give what time they have.

They show up every week because they know everyone deserves respect. Some deliver training, some staff the camps, some simply answer the phone when somebody finally works up the nerve to call.
