About Us

Colour Blind Awareness CIC is a non-profit organization founded in 2009 to support people with colour blindness and educate others about the condition. It provides guidance to families, teachers, schools, and businesses on how to be colour blind friendly.

Colour blindness affects about 320 million people worldwide, including 3 million in the UK.

One in 12 men and one in 200 women are colour blind.

Despite being a recognised disability and special educational need (SEN), many teachers are unaware of its effects. The organisation works to raise awareness and ensure colour blind students receive equal support in their education.

The All India Colourblindness Association works to raise awareness and ensure colour blind students receive equal support in their education. We are breaking barriers and creating opportunities for millions affected by colour vision deficiency across India.

We believe that color vision deficiency is not a disability—it's simply a different way of seeing the world. Our mission is to create a society where everyone can thrive, regardless of how they perceive color.
